BLOG 10: English Language Challenges

Hello friends today I´m going to talk about my blogging experience I think about this experience that was unbelievably fabulous, really the sessions was enjoyable in addition to interesting. I have learned many contents besides words, in the exercises, it takes me time to write the post but when I finish it I feel rewarded. I have improved my writing skills in English, in addition to doing it faster, now I understand the language more as I write. I memorize diffrent words only because I have written them a lot. This things I feel when write now, for example, it´s more easy that when I was begin. I would also like to apply different methodologies to learn in different ways, you could do a collective writing for example or in pairs. or also analyze together a poorly done post to detect faults and errors in the grammar. It seems right on the other hand, to give more opportunities to people who need help, that is to say that the classmates help each other so that they can all advanc

BLOG 9: Changes to my study program

Hello Friends, today I´m going to talk about the changes that I would like apply in my career : The Sociology at the "Universidad de Chile" . In this career exist different and varied subjects which it´s from the methodology until the theory and in both it´s possible find interesting themes, but, first things first. I think that the career have to undergo especially in the area of "CFG's", because these special subjects take away many time that I could spend for the study the principal subjects of career, even thought exist very interesting options of "CFG's" I think this type of subject have to change and it´s replace for elective subject which include themes of different fields of professionalization and specialization. Furthermore, I would like that the timetables it´s modify because it´s very stressful have to wake up too early for arrive the university, mostly in the days that I study all night or prepare presentations, so I think it´s more

BLOG 8: A subject I have enjoyed a lot this semester!

Hello friends,today I´m going to talk about a subject I have enjoyed a lot this semester Really, I don´t have a subject that I enjoyed because always I bored but among the all subjects that I have, I prefer the "descriptive statistics" because it´s more simple and especially because it´s don´t has a lot of bibliography in comparison with the others subjects either "sociological theory" or "Social history of Chile".  Principally, in the classes it´s inspect the principal concepts which it´s very necessary for the understanding the variable and the characteristics for the population or a sample and also the teacher show us different exercises and it´s graphics. Furthermore, I think that this subject it´s really important for get us datum that allow for understand the social problems in combination with the qualitative methods. An expert on my Field

Hello friends, today I´m going to talk about a character that he was very important for the sociology, above all in the sociology that it´s a responsible of the study of relations and power structure, and his studies make that I appreciation him. He is: Michel Foucault *He was born in 1926 and die for AIDS sick in 1984. He was a social theorist and philosopher, as well as practice as a teacher in different universities. His works is profoundly influenced in social sciences and social theory. *The first important work it´s was the book "Madness and civilization: A history of insanity in the age of reason"  was published in 1961. BLOG 6: POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

Hello friends, today I´m going to talk about a postgraduate course that I would like do. First, the postgraduate course that I wish is the "Master´s in social sciences, mention in sociology of modernization". This course it´s impart at Universidad de Chile which be in my natal country, so it´s more easy for enter that in abroad, consider the price of travel. The reasons for that I choose this master´s degree being principally the objectives that the course have and the knowledge that it´s give me, for example: the actualization of  sociology theory and methodology to the last scientific progress. Also, the preparation that the course give you for confront field labor with the required abilities. Furthermore, even thought all subjects of this master´s degree run to the theory of modernization, the subject that I prefer and like me it´s the "modernization and social structure " because it´s focus on the social structure and since this structure affect to the people

BLOG 5: Your reflections on the demonstrations at FACSO

Hello Friends, today I´m going to talk about the sit-in of the department and that which meaning to me. POST 4: MY FUTURE JOB

Hello friends Today I´m going to talk about my future job. First, I liked tell you that I study the carreer of sociology whom have different specialty´s , considering that is possible apply in almost every field in society, I don´t still take a speciality, however, I think that choose someone it´s was associated with the community and their social development. In this sense the kind whom I would like work is in NGO's that act about the community that need help, above everything the more poor. Personally, I don't like the job that execute the governmental institutions that´s why I don´t want work with the government but with people that pertaining to the community. I imagine that is very restorative can help us in their problems but also exhausting. Having said that, sincerely I think that can work in mentioned and at the same time develop my artistic skills in an office, either in painting, playing music or making books that later I reading, for give you a example.
